Unbelievably, this page has received Hit Counter visitors since January 1, 1996.

Here I am meeting George and Barbara Bush at the J.W. Marriot in Houston (Spring 1996).

I met current pres. George W. Bush back in 1992 but don't have any pictures of that. Besides, at the time he wasn't even Texas' governor yet.

Don't take this to mean too much when it comes to my politics.

First and foremost, I'm philosophically a Libertarian, but I don't happen to have any pictures of myself with any notable Libertarians.

So there you go.

(no, believe it or not, this is not
a cut and paste photo)

Here's another of me taken while engaging in one of the great Texas pastimes - Tubing.

The only reason I include this photo is to remind me of what I looked like with hair and a tan.

I had no idea how nice a city could be until I saw Vancouver. Mountains, water, and skyscrapers all right there. There were plenty of sleek sailboats to drool over and amazing skylines to indulge in. The Univeristy of British Colombia was memorable as well with its garden overlooking an inlet with mountains on the horizon. Then there was Lion's Gate bridge and the folk music festival and the...

Back to the U.S.

Here's a shot taken in
 Ruidoso, New Mexico on
a ski trip several years back.

On the way there, we stopped along the Texas-Mexico border out in West Texas and I snapped a shot there.

 Roadtrip USA:

In the fall of '95, I drove from Houston all the way to Massachusetts with my sister and her amazingly cooperative Dalmatian. I took pictures sporadically along the way but a couple of my favorites were snapped in Louisiana and Georgia.
